Outreach Event Space First Birthday
Happy Birthday to us! It’s hard for us to believe, but our grand opening party was one year ago. We’ve had such a wonderful first year because so many people chose to use our Kansas City event space to celebrate some of the most important moments in their lives. We want to take a moment to celebrate the Outreach Event Space first birthday.
The word is out about our great party venue, and our schedule is getting ever more full, but we wanted to take a moment to look back on our first year and appreciate all the people who worked so hard to make our first year such an amazing success.
The First Outreach Event Space Parties
Our first year started with some amazing events, and then took off from there. Early on in the year we had a wedding celebration.
But just in case you were thinking were only a venue for weddings and receptions, here are some other events we hosted in our first year:

When OES turned one year old, we celebrated by hosting a pop-up of local Kansas City artists and makers, held by Strawberry Swing. Art lovers all over the greater Kansas City area know and love Strawberry Swing for their highest quality and the originality of the creations that are featured whenever they appear around town.
During that party, we also featured some of our favorite vendors. Sugar and Sky served complimentary cotton candy. Banana Who? Booth set up an open-air photo booth for some spontaneous memory-making. (Check out all their unique photo booth options!) And Kansas City’s finest taco truck, The Sugar Skull Grill, joined the fun. And this was just one example of why we’re so happy to be celebrating the Outreach Event Space First Birthday.
An Event Space that Gives Back
We love our event venue and we know that the people who choose to hold a special event here love it, too. But we also realize there are so many venues in Kansas City to choose from. But we know we have more than just our great space and awesome location. We have purpose. The Outreach Event Space gets its name from the work that goes on upstairs at Outreach International. It’s a global nonprofit that works to help communities all around the world to lift themselves out of chronic poverty. A portion of rental fees goes to this cause. So, we’re not only affordable, we’re charitable.
