The Outreach Event Space: An Event Venue That’s Totally Unique

We’re an event venue offered to you by the nonprofit organization Outreach International – a global nonprofit that works to empower communities in low-income countries to overcome the challenges of chronic poverty. Through generous donation, we were able to buy an incredible building to call home in the KC Crossroads. We’re on 18th Street, across from the Bauer, and we simply love it here. So… what does all this have to do with an event space?

Our small but mighty group of dedicated do-gooders all fit comfortably on the second floor, happily gathering together to do our jobs, helping to bring hope and prosperity to communities all around the world. And with our awesome downtown KC home, we have a beautiful large space on our first floor. We talked about what to do with it, we did yoga, we ran tricycle races, and then we redesigned the entire space to make it the perfect event venue.

You can check out all the services and amenities we have to offer, and there’s no location cooler than the Kansas City Crossroads. We also have a group of fantastic vendors for dining, drinks, music, and all sorts of fun.

We envision a world where communities around the globe are working together to overcome issues of chronic poverty. Our work supports groups who construct water wells, establish low-interest loan programs, build and repair roads, grow vegetables, raise animals, and so much more. We employ a proven approach to teaching community leaders to gain the knowledge and confidence they need to overcome the obstacles that have held them back from progress and prosperity.

For over 40 years, Outreach International has facilitated the development of communities by empowering hundreds of thousands of people to work together to reach their goals and break the cycle of poverty with solutions that can last for generations.
